The Head Women’s Soccer Coach is responsible for leading all aspects of the women’s soccer program, including recruiting, training, and mentoring student-athletes to achieve success on and off the field. This position requires a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and academic achievement. In addition to coaching responsibilities, the role includes administrative duties supporting the broader operations of the athletic department, which will be assigned based on the candidate's experience and strengths. This dual responsibility offers an opportunity to contribute strategically to departmental goals while building a successful and inclusive soccer program.

Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee all aspects of the women’s soccer program, including planning practices, game strategies, and player development.
  • Recruit and retain talented student-athletes committed to academic and athletic success.
  • Foster a team culture that prioritizes sportsmanship, inclusivity, and the holistic development of student-athletes.
  • Manage program logistics, including scheduling, travel, equipment, and budget oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with university partners on fundraising, community engagement, and promotional activities to enhance the program's visibility and support.
  • Perform additional administrative duties to support the department, such as event management, compliance, or student-athlete development initiatives, tailored to the candidate's strengths and experience.
  • Serve as a mentor and advocate for student-athletes, supporting their academic, personal, and career goals.
