Position Summary Information
JMU Creative Services is looking for talented student photographers to join our team! These paid positions require working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and experience with shooting sports. Apply your creative skills to help create content for JMU’s social media channels, university publications, and jmusports.com. We are looking for students who are eager to learn and grow in the field of sports photography. Photography interns are critical to our team’s success. Therefore, professionalism and dependability are essential. Approximately 10 hours per week, at Min wage, with office availability between 9am-5pm.
Flexible to work evenings and weekends for sporting events. Complete post-production/editing of content in a timely, efficient manner.
Experienced at photographing sports Understanding of photo composition and proper exposure. Proficiency with Lightroom, Photoshop, or Photo Mechanic. Knowledge of basic Mac software Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively Strong & professional communication skills Attention to detail
Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).Students must have a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA.E-Verify Notice: After accepting employment, new hires are required to complete an I-9 form and present documentation of their identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
