Position Details:
The Opportunity:
As the Ticket Operations Specialist your primary role is to focus on all aspects of ticket operations for assigned sports. You will be responsible for coordinating and administering various aspects of WSU Ticket Operations including programming, student tickets, events and some ticket sales. This role is a customer service-oriented position that will have ticket box office responsibilities and is required to act in accordance with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Pac-12 Conference or Affiliate Conference, Washington State University, and State of Washington bylaws, rules, regulations, and policies as approved by the Assistant Athletic Director of Ticket Operations.
This is a full time (100 % FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible .
Monthly Salary: $3,477 to $4,632 | Steps A - M | Range 40 | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. Step M is typically a longevity step.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
Program Specialty: experience in sports operations/management or coordinating operations and/or sales for events or related.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree.
Experience in Customer Service.
Experience within an athletic ticket office.
Working knowledge of Paciolan computer software.
Experience coordinating game day ticket operations.
Experience in ticket sales operations.
Supervisory or Management Experience.
Experience in conjunction with a major university athletic foundation with an emphasis on priority seating and ticket-based donations.
